The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
